Destination Folder 8. To select the location for installing the Symantec System Center software, do one of the following: Click Next to accept the default destination folder refer to Figure 5. Review the information in the Destination computers area, and then click Next refer to Figure By default, the temporary server group is named Symantec AntiVirus 1.
You will need to change the group name refer to step 9. The Setup Message dialog box appears. Click Yes. The Enter Password for the Server Group dialog box appears. Enter Password for the Server Group Refer to Figure 17 and do the following: a. In the Username text box, type a user name for the server group.
In the Password text box, type a password. In the Confirm password text box, retype the password. Click OK. The Server Startup Options dialog box appears.

You cannot install clients from the Symantec System Center without configuring a primary management server. After you install Symantec AntiVirus primary management server, you should designate the server as the primary management server.
This designation allows you to deploy other servers and clients from the Symantec System Center.
